HER STORY - HER ART
ArtCamp Österfeld / Whitsun 2026
ArtCamp Österfeld is a multidisciplinary gathering as part of the series Herstory to be told/Kiss your inner artist by director and mentor Katharina Oberlik. The ArtCamp is a space of retreat and self-expression for women, offering full permission for playful and artistic exploration. A retreat to immerse oneself in one’s own artistic expression and to be felt and acknowledged within it.
One focus of this retreat is on the participants’ personal stories: what role does the artist play in their lives? How much space is given to her?
At ArtCamp, she is given her full place and space for new inspiration in individual and interdisciplinary expression: dance, performance, music, language, writing, singing, photography or video.
Through a mix of guided sessions and individual exploration, a new network is created to connect female creative power and autonomy.
All participants develop an individual site-specific performance, in one of the diverse spaces of the oesterfeld04 residency – from the cellar to the attic or in the wild garden.
In a second phase, to mark the conclusion of the planned ArtCamp No. 2, the further-developed performances will be presented to the public (spring 2027).
